Creative Prize of 10,000 Dirhams for the Most Creative Bicycles
In the sixth edition of Dubai Ride, in addition to cycling on Sheikh Zayed Road, you also have the opportunity to win 10,000 Dirhams. This year's event features a new section called Dress Your Ride, which awards the most creative bicycles and participants' outfits.
This event will take place on Sunday, November 1st, and participants can compete in four categories: Best Bicycle, Most Creative Theme, Best Family Outfit, and Best Group Outfit. The prize for each category is 10,000 Dirhams. To participate in the competition, simply decorate your bicycle, wear a different outfit, or do both and pose for official photographers on the event day.
The Dubai Ride event had over 40,000 participants last year and is expected to turn Sheikh Zayed Road into a major cycling route this year. Cyclists will pass by attractions such as the Museum of the Future, Dubai Water Canal, Burj Khalifa, and Dubai Opera.
Two routes to participate in the event
Participants can choose one of two routes:
• The 12-kilometer Sheikh Zayed Road route: for more experienced cyclists; passing by the Museum of the Future, Dubai Water Canal, and Burj Khalifa.
• The 4-kilometer Family Route in Downtown: a smooth route suitable for families, children, and individuals with varying skill levels that circles around Dubai Mall, Dubai Opera, and Burj Khalifa.
This event is not a race, and participants must adhere to a speed limit of 25 kilometers per hour.
To participate in Dubai Ride, you must register through the official Dubai Fitness Challenge website. Parents and legal guardians can also register up to three children.
After registration, you must collect your event number from the Dubai Municipality's 30x30 Fitness Village at Zabeel Park. Numbers and t-shirts will be distributed from October 28 to 31.
