Cost of Visiting Global Village Dubai; From Entry Ticket to Food and Games

Global Village Dubai is not just a destination for visiting pavilions of different countries; the cost of food, dessert, souvenir shopping, and amusement park games can significantly increase the budget for a night out. In Season 31, which started on October 14, 2026, the venue hosts 29 pavilions representing over 90 cultures, more than 250 food and beverage stalls, and over 200 games and attractions.

The entry ticket costs 25 dirhams on regular weekdays and 30 dirhams on weekends and public holidays; however, this amount does not include food, shopping, and paid entertainment. For example, you can buy a chicken bread or a simple snack for 25 dirhams, while some seafood dishes range from 45 to 95 dirhams. Shrimp and chicken shumai and various dumplings are also priced around 40 dirhams, and butterfly shrimp is offered at 50 dirhams.

For dessert and sweets, you should also budget separately. Emirati luqaimat with date syrup costs about 35 dirhams, and sugary fruits are around 25 dirhams. If you plan to buy souvenirs and local products, prices vary significantly; from 30 dirhams for 100 grams of tea in the Syrian pavilion to clothes priced around 120 dirhams, a decorative jug for 450 dirhams, and some clothing models for 700 dirhams. Fur coats in the Pakistan pavilion are also priced between 300 to 1000 dirhams, and honey in the Yemen pavilion starts from around 200 dirhams.

The cost of games and attractions is also calculated separately from the entry fee. The price of some amusement park rides like the Venetian Carousel and Californian Highway is around 15 dirhams; the Hook-A-Duck game costs about 40 dirhams, and the ticket for the scary attraction Horror Hotel is over 70 dirhams. Therefore, even a few games or small purchases can increase the final cost of the outing.

To better understand the expenses, a person on a regular weekday can start their outing with 50 dirhams by purchasing a 25 dirham ticket and a 25 dirham snack. By adding a 15 dirham game, this amount reaches 65 dirhams. If this person also buys a 45 dirham seafood dish, the total for entry and food will be 95 dirhams; excluding drinks, desserts, shopping, and other games.

For a family of four, four entry tickets on a regular weekday cost 100 dirhams. If the family chooses two 25 dirham breads, two 15 dirham amusement park rides, and one 4 dirham game, the total cost reaches 184 dirhams. This amount is just a calculative example and does not include the cost of other foods, drinks, shopping, and entertainment.

To manage expenses better, it is advisable to set a separate budget for food, shopping, and games before going. You don’t have to try all the foods or buy from all the stalls; comparing product prices, setting a spending limit for children's games, and checking the final price before purchasing can help control expenses.

This information is based on a report published on October 15, 2026, in Gulf News. Prices may vary depending on the stall, product, and sales conditions; therefore, check the final price before purchasing or using attractions.
