Asaad Touqan, a teenage boxer residing in Dubai, has become the first Arab boxer to hold both the WBC professional championship and the ICB influencer boxing championship simultaneously.

He achieved the WBC Asian Youth Championship title in the super welterweight category by defeating Gaurav Bisht from India at a boxing event held at the Meydan Hotel in Dubai, improving his professional record to four wins without a loss.

The match took place over eight rounds. Bisht, with over 100 amateur fights and five knockout victories in his professional career, was an experienced opponent for Touqan; however, the young boxer managed to secure the judges' decision by maintaining focus and discipline.

After this victory, Touqan stated that winning in Dubai holds special significance for him and considers this success a turning point in his professional journey.

Having made his professional debut on May 31, 2025, without any amateur boxing background, he had previously spent nearly 10 years in Muay Thai. Touqan became a three-time national Muay Thai champion, won the Asian championship, and earned a silver medal at the world championships in Bangkok, representing Jordan.

He also previously became the youngest champion of the ICB in influencer boxing by defeating Dawood Savage; competitions in which personalities like Mo Vlogs and KSI have also held championships.

Touqan's recent victory occurred during the two-night boxing event in Dubai on September 18 and 19. Now, with two championship titles and an undefeated professional record, he is looking to continue his journey in the boxing world.
