Xiaomi announced that users can transfer files and content from Android to iPhone via AirDrop and Quick Share.

Xiaomi has added file sharing capability between Android and iPhone to Quick Share. This feature, which is available in HyperOS 3 based on Android 16, allows sending and receiving files and contacts through iPhone's AirDrop.

Xiaomi mentioned the Xiaomi 17T Pro when introducing this feature; however, other devices equipped with HyperOS 3 may also receive it, although some hardware limitations might hinder widespread rollout.

To use this feature, the iPhone user must enable the Everyone for 10 Minutes option in AirDrop so that the Android device can recognize it and initiate the file transfer process. Currently, this method is the only way for Quick Share to connect with iPhone.

Previously, Google and Samsung also added AirDrop support to Quick Share. It has also been reported that phones like Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Vivo X300 Ultra have recently received this capability.
