Fars News Agency reported on Wednesday that the Cabinet has imposed a tariff of up to 165% on car imports by Iranians abroad.

According to this report, the Cabinet has issued a new resolution determining the import duties for cars by Iranians residing abroad until the end of 2025.

Accordingly, Iranians abroad will only pay 4% for importing electric and hybrid cars. Meanwhile, the tariff imposed on gasoline cars varies between 110% to 165%.
