The UAE has approved the use of Lipfendra, making it the second country in the world after the USA to authorize this new oral medication for treating high cholesterol.

This pill, which contains the active ingredient Enlicitide, is taken once a day and is designed for adults with high levels of bad cholesterol (LDL). It may also be prescribed for some individuals with genetic disorders that cause elevated cholesterol, but only upon a doctor's recommendation.
