Fans of the King of Pop in the UAE can watch a live performance this summer featuring the famous dances and songs of Michael Jackson.

For many, Michael Jackson was not just a singer; he was part of the collective memory of pop. From the iconic 'Moonwalk' to music videos like Thriller and Billie Jean, his name is still associated with one of the most influential periods in world music.

Now, these memories are set to come alive again this summer in Abu Dhabi. The show 'This Is Michael' will take place on August 22, 2026, at Etihad Arena, Yas Island; a live performance that recreates Michael Jackson's most famous songs with a singer, band, dancers, and concert stage design.

The main performer of this show is 'Lenny Jay'; a performer known for his vocal resemblance and performance style to Michael Jackson, who has previously brought this show to the stage in Europe and Latin America, selling hundreds of thousands of tickets.

This program will feature more than 20 of Michael Jackson's famous songs, and audiences can expect a recreation of his dances, costumes, and the atmosphere of his classic concerts.

Pre-sale tickets for Mastercard holders will start on May 19, and general ticket sales will be available from May 21 on Live Nation and Ticketmaster websites.
