Jake Paul fights former kickboxing champion on Christmas night in Dubai
Jake Paul, the famous American YouTuber who has turned to professional boxing, will face Cedric Doumbé, the French fighter and former world kickboxing champion, on December 24, 2026, in Dubai.
The match will take place at Coca-Cola Arena as part of an eight-round professional fight in the cruiserweight division (maximum 200 pounds). The fighters will enter the ring wearing 10-ounce gloves.
This fight marks Jake Paul's first appearance in the ring after his loss to Anthony Joshua in December 2025. He lost that match by knockout in the sixth round and broke his jaw in two places; an injury that required several surgeries.
The 29-year-old Paul has recorded 12 wins and two losses in professional boxing. His opponent, 34-year-old Cedric Doumbé, was born in Cameroon and represents France. Doumbé has been a two-time world champion in kickboxing and has a record of 75 wins, seven losses, and one draw in this sport. He has also recorded six wins in seven MMA fights.
This fight has an important stipulation: Jake Paul has announced that if he loses to Doumbé, he will retire from professional boxing.
A joint press conference for the two fighters will also be held on November 12 in Dubai and is free for the public. Tickets for the match will go on sale starting November 15.
Ticket sales will begin on Sunday, November 15, 2026, at 12 PM UAE time.
