Dubai announced the Eid al-Adha holidays for private schools; 9 days off for students

According to this schedule, students will enter official holidays starting from Monday, May 25, and these holidays will continue until Friday, May 29. Classes will resume on Monday, June 1.

Including the weekend holidays, students will have a total of 9 days off; as May 23, 24, 30, and 31 are also considered weekends as usual.

The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) issued this announcement after the Ministry of Education of the UAE announced last week the dates for the mid-term holidays of the third term as well as the Eid al-Adha holidays for students, teaching staff, and administrative personnel from May 25 to 29.

This decision was made after the approval of the schools' plan to continue the academic year. These holidays come just before the final assessment phase for students and provide a brief opportunity for rest before exams.

According to the announced calendar, students will return to classes on June 1 to continue the third term, and mock exams will be held on June 15 and 16.

The official holiday for the Hijri New Year will also be on June 17, and after that, the end-of-term exams will take place from June 24 to July 3.

The Ministry of Education of the UAE has announced July 3 as the last day for students in schools and the official end of the academic year.
