Free medical check-ups in Dubai parks during Ramadan

The Dubai Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities announced that during Ramadan, health screening buses will be available for free in some of the most popular parks in Dubai. This initiative aims to encourage Dubai residents to engage in early disease detection and preventive care.

This program, which is part of the Ramadan campaign titled “Step of Life,” is being implemented in collaboration with Prime Medical Care and Noor Dubai Foundation. Free medical check-ups will take place on February 26, March 5, and March 12 at key public locations in Dubai.

The Quranic Park, Kite Beach, and Nad Al Sheba Park will host this initiative. Services will be provided from 4 PM until the Maghrib prayer, and if necessary, working hours will be extended to ensure that all applicants can benefit from the free check-ups.

The services offered include eye examinations, blood pressure measurements, and blood sugar tests. The goal of this program is to promote early detection of chronic diseases and encourage Dubai residents to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

Mobile medical units will also play a crucial role in this initiative, delivering preventive care messages directly to residents in crowded public spaces. This approach, especially during Ramadan when families gather in parks before Iftar, makes access to health services easier.

Mohammed Misbah Al Dhahi, Executive Director of the Charitable Activities Department and overall coordinator of this initiative, stated that creating a healthy community starts with awareness at the family level. He added that the aim of this program is to promote long-term health habits and strengthen preventive care among Dubai residents.
