Paid parking in Palm Jumeirah; details of rates and payment methods

Paid parking is coming to one of the most popular areas of Dubai. The parking operator Parkanic announced that a paid parking system will soon be launched in Crescent Palm Jumeirah. This important change is highly significant for drivers and residents of this busy area of Dubai.

According to information published on Parkanic's Instagram page, the street parking rate in Crescent Palm Jumeirah will be 10 dirhams per hour or part thereof. This rate applies to all drivers, including residents and non-residents of the area.

Drivers can pay for parking through their Salik account or by sending a text message and following the instructions on the signs installed along the route. Crescent Palm Jumeirah, with a length of about 11 kilometers, is one of the popular walking paths in Dubai.

Parkanic has recently launched a similar system in the Discovery Gardens area of Dubai. In this area, parking spaces for residents require an active parking permit, and each qualifying residential unit receives a free parking permit. Residents with more than one vehicle must purchase a paid subscription for additional vehicles.
