The United Arab Emirates has announced the fuel prices for April 2026.

 

According to the published report, the new prices will take effect from April 1, 2026, as follows:

 

Super 98 gasoline: 3.39 dirhams per liter (compared to 2.59 dirhams in March)

Special 95 gasoline: 3.28 dirhams per liter (compared to 2.48 dirhams)

Eco Plus 91 gasoline: 3.20 dirhams per liter (compared to 2.40 dirhams)

Diesel: 4.69 dirhams per liter (compared to 2.72 dirhams)

 

 

This decision comes as global stock markets continue to decline and oil prices are on the rise. This increase is due to the lack of progress in ending the conflicts in the Middle East, which is gradually undermining consumer and business confidence.

 

Three types of gasoline, including Super 98, Special 95, and Eco Plus, experienced a slight price increase in March, reversing the downward trend of the past two months. The UAE liberalized gasoline prices in 2015 to align with international rates.

 

The average closing price of Brent oil in the first three weeks of March 2026 has been over $92, while this figure was $68.92 last month. This increase is due to military conflict in the Middle East between the USA, Israel, and Iran, which began on February 28.
